Jewish and other pro-Israel students were shouted down and threatened with cries of “Allahu Akbar” just as we also heard when the captured Jordanian pilot was burned alive by Islamic State. Has life on American universities become mob rule? Where is the U of C Davis administration? Are they busy being tolerant? Why not just invite a guest speaker from ISIS)?

Pro-Hamas students at the University of California at Davis chanted “Allahu akbar” at Jewish students filing out of a student government vote calling on the college to divest from companies who do business in Israel.
The 8 to 2 vote passed the council on Thursday, the latest in a series of council resolutions passed by students at UC campuses at Berkeley, San Diego, Santa Cruz, Irvine, and Riverside. The council urged the university regent to divest from companies like Caterpillar Inc. and Raytheon, which provide military equipment to Israel.
As pro-Israeli students exited the auditorium, a throng of students waving Palestinian flags began the chant. “Takbir!” one shouted, with the others all shouting “Allahu akbar” in unison. The chant is frequently used by Islamic terrorist groups and other Islamist extremists as a way to denote victory and intense religious conviction.
The resolution was part of the broader “BDS” (boycott, divestment, sanctions) movement seeking to isolate Israel internationally. The particular push at UC Davis, however, was sponsored by Students for Justice in Palestine.
The Clarion Project reports that one student senator, expressed jubilation over the successful vote, excitedly exclaiming that that “Hamas and Sharia law have taken over UC Davis.”
